PEERS® for teens at Redwood is a 12-week evidence-based program that helps middle schoolers improve their social skills and make lasting friendships. Developed at UCLA, this research-based program is used worldwide and is ideal for middle schoolers with Autism, anxiety, or ADHD who want to build stronger social connections. Each week, teens learn key social skills in group sessions and practice them through fun activities. Parents are involved via weekly asynchronous video training that offers support and guidance to help their child apply the skills in real-life situations and complete their therapy homework. PEERS® is a great opportunity for motivated middle schoolers to gain confidence and enhance their social skills.
