Parenting Tricky Behaviors (for ADHD) (Winter)

$255.00

Parenting Tricky Behaviors is a virtual, 7-week therapy group for Illinois parents/caregivers of kids 7-13 with ADHD or related neurodevelopmental challenges. Parents will learn what ADHD is, what it isn’t, and what works alongside parents who “get it.” Therapist Courtney Chamerski helps families identify what is working (and what isn’t) - and learn critical new skills for managing the unique needs of young people with ADHD and related disorders. How is this done? By providing psychoeducation on ADHD and related challenges and sharing valuable insights from Parent Management Training (a parent-based therapy), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (a values-based therapy), and Dialectical Behavior therapy (an emotion regulation-focused therapy). These 60-minute groups begin Tuesday, January 7th, 2025!

This group is not well-suited for parents of youth with high support needs, autism spectrum disorders, or those experiencing significant emotional distress and suicidal ideation.

Once you register, a group facilitator will contact you with more information and prepare you for your upcoming therapy group. Please note that this group fills up quickly. If the website indicates “sold out,” that means the group is full.

Dates: Tuesdays, January 7th - February 18th, 2025
Time: 12:00p - 1:00p CST
Location: Virtual

Price: This program requires a non-refundable $255 deposit, including the first three (3) group therapy sessions. After which, you will be charged the remaining balance of $340 of the 7-session program one week prior to the start of group. The total 7-week group fee is $595.

Payments and Refunds: At registration, you will pay a non-refundable deposit of $255 to hold your spot. The remaining payment will be billed to your card on file one week before the start of your program. Please note that payments are non-refundable and non-transferable to future groups. If you wish to withdraw and provide notice more than 72 hours before a group begins, you will not be charged for the remaining $425. If the therapist(s) of this group determine you may benefit from other services and cannot continue in the group after the first session, you will be eligible for a partial refund (full payment minus one session). For group therapy consisting of 10 or less sessions, please note that the group fee is not prorated for any absences (planned or unplanned), and no refunds will be issued for missed sessions, given the limited number of clients participating.

Next Steps: Once you pay the deposit, the group facilitator will contact you with additional group details and answer any questions you may have.

Welcome, we’re excited to have you!
