Hello! I’m Leah (pronounced Lay-Ah), and I look forward to connecting. I’m sure you’re interested in learning a little more about me. I received a BA in psychology from Beloit College and an AM in Clinical Social Work from the University of Chicago. Throughout my career, I’ve provided evidence-based, trauma-focused therapy for youth and young adults in outpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. I am also licensed to work with people struggling with substance use and have experience providing care in substance use treatment settings. At Mind, I value working with teens and young adults to navigate life’s challenges and manage severe anxiety, OCD, depression, LGBTQI+ wellness, and the transition to college.
I specialize in:
PEERS® for teens and young adults with autism, ADHD, and other related challenges
Outside of the therapy office, I’m a well-trained classical pianist and enjoy bass guitar. I also love being active and seeing pictures of your pets! So yes, bring in a photo of your cat, bird, or guinea pig!
