Hi, I’m Jane, and I’m looking forward to meeting you! Here’s a bit about me… I earned a Bachelor’s in English literature from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and later pursued a Master's in social work from the University of Illinois Chicago. Throughout my career as an outpatient therapist, specializing in trauma-focused, evidence-based approaches for children, adolescents, young adults, and families, I've honed my skills in blending creative approaches with therapeutic best practices. My journey has taught me that the most effective interventions stem from meeting clients exactly where they are in their unique circumstances. Dedicated to nurturing inclusivity and empowerment, I take great pride in providing affirming and supportive care tailored to LGBTQ+ and AAPI youth and families. I also specialize in supporting clients struggling with OCD, ADHD, anxiety, and mood disorders. My primary therapeutic approaches include:

Now to the fun stuff… I spend a lot of time at libraries devouring the latest graphic novels! When I have some downtime, I love to cozy up to a sci-fi or fantasy movie with my family or play story-based video games. I enter the therapeutic space authentically myself and nurture joy. I find therapy is most effective when drawing strategies and meaning through client passions (like graphic novels and sci-fi movies!), so I look forward to learning about yours!
