Hello! I’m Diana (pronounced Dee-ana) – great to meet you! I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology and Latina/o Studies from the University of Illinois and went on to earn my Master’s in Clinical Counseling from Northwestern University. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working as a therapist specializing in OCD, mood disorders, ADHD, and anxiety, with extensive training in evidence-based approaches and child and adolescent health. I’m passionate about creating a compassionate and empowering space in therapy—one where everyone feels heard, supported, and understood.

I embrace the complexities of therapy and deeply value using evidence-based methods that respect each person's unique cultural and social experiences. My professional passion is working with children, teens, young adults, and families to help them navigate life’s challenges and define what is meaningful and fulfilling for them.

I feel grateful to do this work every day and look forward to supporting you on your journey!

My primary therapeutic approaches include:

Now for the fun stuff… In my free time, I love being surrounded by nature. Whether I’m visiting a garden, forest preserve, or conservatory—or even just arranging a bouquet—I find that nature fills me with a sense of awe and wonder. I'm also part of a traveling book club with a small group of dear friends, and I can't wait for the next adventure. Like so many Chicagoans, I love cheering or volunteering for the Chicago Marathon (the energy is amazing!) - it has become one of my favorite ways to celebrate perseverance and community. How do you connect to your community?
