Teen DBT Skills Group (8th - 12th Grade)

$280.00

Join our Teen Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Skills Group and embark on a journey of personal growth and emotional resilience. DBT equips teens with essential skills to navigate the challenges of adolescence, fostering emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, and distress tolerance. In our supportive group setting, teens find a brave space to share experiences, learn from others, and practice DBT techniques together. Group therapy offers a sense of belonging and understanding as teens work towards building a life worth living. Join us to cultivate valuable skills, connect with peers, and embrace positive change on your path to a balanced and fulfilling life.

Each 8-week section focuses on one module of DBT. The upcoming group will focus on Distress Tolerance Skills. In DBT, they teach us to handle the super tough and annoying stuff because, let's face it, life throws challenges our way, and we can't dodge them all. Distress tolerance skills help us to get through difficult moments without making the situation worse or acting impulsively.

This group is best for teens 14 - 17 years old. Mature 8th graders and youthful seniors are also welcome!

Once you register, Emma Healy, LSW, will contact you to schedule your group therapy intake.
