Parenting Anxious Kids: Intro To SPACE (May/June)

$225.00

It’s hard to watch our kids struggle with anxiety. As parents, we try our best to be helpful and buffer them from discomfort. But some of the ways we respond to our kids in anxious moments can make worry and anxiety a whole lot worse! Luckily, research shows that children struggle less when parents learn new ways to respond to worry.

Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE) is a parent-focused approach to helping children manage anxiety and worry. Developed by Dr. Eli Lebowitz at the Yale Child Center, SPACE teaches parents helpful strategies to support their child in reducing anxiety-related challenges. This virtual, 3-session educational workshop provides families with a helpful introduction to this popular therapeutic approach. Parents/caregivers walk away with an understanding of anxiety and worry and some ready-to-use tools and resources to get them started at home!

The workshop is a one-time fee of $225.

This workshop is best suited for parents/caregivers of children 6 - 16.

*This is an educational workshop and NOT a therapy group. As such, this workshop can not be submitted for reimbursement through insurance.
